Our hospital provides primary care and specialty health services, including mental health care, women’s health services, prosthetics, kidney care and dialysis, dental services, treatment for spinal cord injury, bone marrow transplants, and more. Below, you’ll find our address and hours, parking and transportation information, and the other health services we offer at our Audie L. Murphy Memorial Veterans Hospital in San Antonio.

Beginning Wednesday, September 4, enrolled Veterans and active CHAMPVA patients can visit the locations listed below to receive their flu shots.

Walk-ins will be accepted in the main lobby, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. This vaccination clinic will operate every weekday through October 4, excluding holidays.

Beginning October 8 through November 7, flu shots will be available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the main lobby.

Veterans who receive their flu shot outside of VA can still notify their Primary Care Provider by secure message via My HealtheVet or by leaving a message through the Consolidated Outpatient Appointment Center at . Veterans are encouraged to provide their first and last name, last four of their Social Security Number, and date of vaccination.

Lab services at Audie L. Murphy Memorial Veterans Hospital is now located inside the main facility on the 1st floor, room J118.

The COVID-19 vaccine is offered at various sites across South Texas Veterans Health Care System to all Veterans enrolled in VA health care.

We work with Disabled American Veterans and county Veterans Affairs directors to provide transportation for Veterans and authorized caregivers to get to scheduled medical appointments.
